You can change the link description and the image link will stay, for example: 3 "Minus 1"s for incorrect answers on a test with 6 questions yields 48/50 (96%)^img.

However, if you change the link (for example http://conservapedia.com instead of http://www.conservapedia.com), a duplicate image will be uploaded under a different name.
