- I disagree.... It wasn't coined in march 2008, it was simply mentioned in a major article for the first time in March 2008. I think we all know this is true, and whether or not the name sticks, I think it deserves an article... However, I specifically refrained from calling it a law and putting all the category stuff on it, that was done by someone else. SirChuckBHITWIN FOR PRESIDENT! 15:07, 10 September 2008 (EDT)
- I dunno, just because she says "In fact, we're developing another theory here: The more exclamation points used in an e-mail, the less true it actually is. (Ditto for excessive use of capital letters.)" doesn't mean the concept hasn't been used multiple times before on teh nets. What she says is "true", of course - the factcheck people are saying it to each other regarding this topic and probably others. But I argue they surely weren't the first to come up with the idea, and naming it after one of them is really pushing it. IMHO. ħuman

- I had heard something along these lines before, but this is the first time I've seen in articulated in an actual article anywhere.... which is why I picked that name. If you have anything else you'd like to name it, I won't really complain. SirChuckBHITWIN FOR PRESIDENT! 10:14, 11 September 2008 (EDT)
- How about the "TRUTH OR NOT!!! law"? ħuman

- I thought of stuff like that... But I figured it'd be better to stretch the concept and use a name rather than getting something that's uncomfortalble to say.... I was thinking something like the law of exclamation or Law of viral email or something like that. SirChuckBHITWIN FOR PRESIDENT! 13:19, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
- I like "Law of exclamation" quite well - enough that I thought I thought it up myself! If we are the only people calling it R's T, no one will ever find it. I think we should rename it and add it to the other internet laws... ħuman

- You move it. That way the silly "article creation" thing accrues to you. 'K? ħuman
