Always put two spaces between a period and a new sentence. Does nothing in html (or wiki) - I just put about 10000000 spaces there - see in edit. Keep»»» going ««« 12:07, 13 August 2007 (CDT)

One space. Two spaces. Three spaces. Test. Crap. And <nowiki> doens't affect it. You're right. Oh well, it makes the coding easier to read. ThunderkatzHo! 12:13, 13 August 2007 (CDT)
It's an html thing - browsers ignore consecutive spaces. To insert extra spaces you use (ampersand)nbsp; (nowiki didn't work on this) to make each one, or two  , or three   . humanbe in 11:54, 14 August 2007 (CDT)

Changed one of the "Ones" examples as I had a problem grasping, "They marched by ones". On another point, if we're being pedantic here, shouldn't all the example quotations be within quotation marks?--Bob_M (talk) 11:44, 14 August 2007 (CDT)

Bob (if that is your real name), ummmm.... no. Cuz we're not being pedantic. We're being educated. The difference between their, there, and they're is not an excessive concern, it's a normal concern that people can't write regular sentences. If you're not intelligent enough to string the proper words into a sentence, how can people expect you to be intelligent enough to string the proper sentences into an article? And they marched by ones means they marched in rows of ones, instead of marching by twos or threes. Would it be worth mentioning that using a browser such as Mozilla Firefox provides a built-in spell checker?Eye See You 21:40, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
