Paganistan

Paganistan is the term given to the area surrounding the Twin Cities in Minnesota, as it has a very large, very diverse population of neo-pagans. The idea of Paganistan is largely attributed to Lady Sheba,[1] who prophesized that a pagan temple would be built in Minneapolis. Many believe, however, that this was simply self-fullfilling, because as word grew of the prophecy, more neo-pagans flocked to the Twin Cities. Within only a few years, the Twin Cities became home to one of the largest and most diverse neo-pagan populations in the United States.

Witch City, Pagan Nation,[2] an article by poet Steven Posch, explains how the term Paganistan was coined, and how Paganistan came to be.
