Oscar Zeta Acosta

Oscar Zeta Ascosta (aka The Brown Buffalo) was a Chicano activist and lawyer who represented people in the 1960's and 70's who had been railroaded by the justice system. He participated in several sit-down protests at Universities and was the giant Samoan, Dr. Gonzo, in Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He wrote two books, The Autobiography of the Brown Buffalo and The Revolt of the Cockroach People. He was last heard from in May 1974 and is considered deceased.
