  • BohdanX (where X is a prime number) - (n) - Anyone (including Bohdan) pretending to be a sock of Bohdan. Normally for the purpose of annoying Bohdan, or (if it is Bohdan) to circumvent a block.
    - (v) - (without the X) to behave like Bohdan by pointless pwning. Also: to go on and on and on ... and on .... Trying to make an unfunny joke amusing by sheer weight of repetition.
  • bunchofnumbers - (n) - An editor who has not joined or is not logged in, identified only by their IP address - a bunch of numbers. Alternatively, if the grammar works better, "abunchofnumbers". (other random versions that occur: bunchanumbers, buncho'numbers , BON, BoN, Bon, bon, bon-bon, buncho)

  • Curse of Ham - (n) - a racist fallacy that all non-white people have darker skin pigmenting because they are cursed.
Origin - A controversial interpretation of Genesis 9:20-27, Ham being the one whose descendants were cursed.

  • Evilutionist - (n) - Another hilarious term invented by those wacky YEC guys to describe someone who thinks that the Book of Genesis is just a fairy story (although there are no faeries in the aforementioned).

  • Goat - (n) - the RW mascot. Pioneered by User:DocSock, goats are ubiquitous on RW. For example, when asked which Deathly Hallow one would have, the vast majority of respondents replied 'goat'.

  • Godspeed!!! - (v. imp.) - either a cheery "see you later" or a devious way to say "go fuck yourself".

  • Goatspeed!!! (v. imp. lulz) - It had to happen.

  • Goddidit (n) The explanation for everything.

  • Human - (n) - A common contraction of 'Human being' - this word on its own is frowned on at Conswervapædia. If you search talk pages there, you'll find out why. It really is - it was removed as an article title.

  • Headless Chicken Mode - (n) - A state of internal confusion and destruction.
Origin - Pioneered by "False Flag." on RationalWikiWiki.
Incidence - once every two or three weeks when all seems to be collapsing around us. It is usually abbreviated to "HCM".

Origin: Named after Jeb Berkeley, a white racist with possible connections to m*t*p*d*a who edited RW for a (short) time.

  • LIEberal - (adj; n) - hilarious conflation of the words 'lie' and 'liberal'; then, just to make sure that you got the joke, they capitalised the 'lie'. D'y'see?

  • Lulz - (n) - a corruption of L O L. LOL is the abbreviation for Laughing Out Loud, which, though a verb phrase, has morphed into a noun to refer to a laugh. LOLs is the plural form.

  • Lurk - (v) - to hang about silently with recent changes constanly refreshed, kibitzing on various talk pages. A lurker may opportunistically make a comment and then return to silent lurking while awaiting the lulz he/she hoped to create, thus becoming a troll. In general netiquette, it is recommended that someone lurk for a bit before joining in the fray at a new wiki, blog, board, forum, or mailing list, in order to get used to its local customs.
    Not to be confused with Lurker who is a lurking defender of Conservapædia.

  • Meh - (interjection) not translatable directly into English, "meh" indicates a grudging acceptance of the point made, with the implied comment of "so what".
  • moonbat - (adj; n) - a left-winger, often with environmental connotations. Compare - 'moonraker', and hence connotations of head-in-the-sky thinking.
Origin - mangling the surname of the noted environmentalist George Monbiot (now, kids, repeat after me: MON-BEE-OH)

  • Mop and Bucket - (n phrase) tools issued to sysops for cleaning up after wandals.
  • My bad - (exclamation) - oops, sorry, what I did was an eror.

Incidence - All over the innertubes, and in "real life" as the tubes get squeezed all over it.
  • NSFW - acronym for "not safe for work" - used to warn people that some links should not be followed in certain environments. Contents may include pron, outrageous political statements or parody, bomb-making instructions, etc.
Incidence - widespread on teh innertubes.

  •  !!!1!@!!one! (and variations) - (excl) - an often ironic imitation of the effect of mashing the buttons around 1/! in order to convey excitement, joy, or rage, sardonic or otherwise.
Origin - Either Counterstrike, or any other situation in which people type quickly without thinking. ASchlafly also signed off with '!!!' (if not Godspeed), so it was reinforced here.
Incidence - Conservapedia, RationalWiki
  • Oh noes! - (exclamation) - wail of person who has just discovered a misfortunate event such as pwnage.
Alternatively: cry heard when someone is found out in a misdemeanor or similar acts (including 'pwnage').

  • Points! - (n.) - Like the normal use, but generally seen in edit summaries, as mockery of the Conservapedia habit of having periodic "contests" with points awarded for various levels of edits (a habit that has resulted in dozens of dictionary-page articles). Often seen as some variation of "Improved, one million pointses!"
  • Psrodt - (n.) - an alternate spelling of parody. Used to get around bans of the word parody. And to be uber-1337-kewl, script kiddies!
  • Pwn - (v trans) - to behave in a childish & immature fashion by inserting rubbish into some one else's gifted prose. Almost exclusively the preoccupation of immature males. Also, "pwnage", (n.), the byproduct of pwning.
Origin: Internet gaming culture. A common typo of "own". Widely used by Human and other elderly adolescents.

incidence - One of the dozen or so blogs Denyse O'Leary pretends is journalism.
  • R Dubya - noun - just us again.
origin: Hojimachong's Parthian shot to Andrew Schlafly.
  • ROTFLMAO - exclamation - An acronym for: Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Arse Off! A common chatroom retort, often seen in its shorter form, ROTFL.
  • RW 1.0 - fabled noun - the semi-private precursor to RationalWiki 2.0/2.1, ca. 2/07-5/07.

  • Seekrit - (adj.) - bastardization of "secret," to imply that something is "secret," but really not that cool at all.

  • 'sensitive man, a' - (n. phrase) - named after a CP vandal who posted the same picture of Hitler and his dog over and over, with the caption 'Hitler was a sensitive man'. Thus, saying that someone 'is a sensitive man' is a veiled accusation of them being far-right.
Origin - back in the day.

  • ! (shriek) - (exclamation point) - not significant alone but, as the number increases, demonstrates an inverse relationship with the stability of the author's mind. Five or more shrieks (!!!!!) indicate a mind under extreme stress whose possessor is about to snap.
  • Smert - (adj) - also, smrat, smrt - the ironic form of smart; dumb. Lighting your hand on fire is a very smert thing to do. Conservapedia is a very smrat website.
  • Snark - (v , n) - a sarcastic or snide remark inserted into an article. Generally used in place of logic.
Origin: Portmanteau of snide and sarcasm or "snide remark", but possibly with reference to Lewis Carroll (hunting of the ...)
Incidence - Rationalwiki, Blogs 4 Brownback, Republican Faith (blog), Television Without Pity.
  • Sock - (n) - a duplicate identity, esp. on a wiki, used for perpetrating mischief and/or evading blocks. It is short for "sockpuppet".
  • Spork - (formerly n, now v) - to appropriate a piece of wikisyntax from one wiki to another. This isn't IP theft, but rather finding a way that someone has done something neat, appropriating the code, gutting it, and turning a bastardised version of it to one's own use.
Origin - from the portmanteau of spoon and fork, to form one all-purpose utensil. It then became its current meaning, which alludes to moving one thing from one place to another.

  • Teh - (definite article) - maladroit and intentional mis-spelling of "the". Imagined by its perpetrators to give a debonair, carefree impression as if one's brain works too fast for teh fingers. Its use is actually REALLY ANNOYING. [citation needed]
Origin - it's a common mistyping of "the".
Use - to absolutely get up teh back of resident shamans.
  • TK - (abbr) - Shortened from 'Team Killer', a common acronym on FPS for someone who ruins their alleged allies.
Origin - Counterstrike, no doubt.
  • TrashionalWiki - noun - mocking corruption of "RationalWIki"
Origin - some innocent homskollar
Incidence - Conswervapedia
  • Treefrog - (adj; n) - an environmentalist. Use of the term mocks support of endangered species, eg tree-frogs.
Origin - Sisyphus' reading of the blogger 'hoverfrog's (a longtime B4B troll) signature.

  • Troll - (n) - like a vandal a troll does not have the interest of the site he is attacking at heart. (S)he may make posts of a harmless or even beneficial nature in order to lull the moderators/sysops into a false sense of security before starting a divisive & negative campaign. See TK
  • Trollance - (n) - the spoor of a troll. See "vandalism" (invented by SusanG, 06:55, 12 December 2007 (EST))

  • Weapon of [noun] (esp. weapon of gun) - (n) Often qualified with the adjective "largely defensive".
Origin - Just a nonsense prefix ("weapon of gun" = "gun") that Andy coined during one of his anti-liberal rants.
Incidence - Teh Wiki of Rational, with increasing frequency.
  • Wheels or On Wheels! - (adv/prep) - reference to a hilarious vandalism tactic in early Conservapedia, whereby vandals would move (Article Name) to (Article Name On Wheels!).

Origin - Wikipedia, with the infamous user "Willy on Wheels".

  • WTF! or WTF?.- (exclamation) - expression of surprise/amazement.
Usually at the antics of right-wingers or believers in the accuracy of, e.g., Genesis, etc.
Around the kids, often "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot"
Origin - uncertain, possibly vulgar.
