Creationism syndrome is the tendency of some people to compulsively insist that their belief in creation must somehow be true, and to spend nearly all their time pushing that belief on others. It is reflected on the internet by people who devote over 90% of their edits and postings to pushing their belief in creation and in insisting on censoring more accurate views of the issue.

Creationism syndrome particularly afflicts people who have no educational background and without the intellectual depth of more accomplished peers.

Creationism syndrome can be seen on wikis, usenet groups, theological positions below full bishopry, and some more annoying televangelism programmes.

There is a high incidence of fundamentalism among those who suffer from creationism syndrome.

Keeping an open mind and not obsessing about one's own views is the key to avoid suffering from creationism syndrome.
