Ergo "conservative deceit" is a actually liberal deceit, and Andrew Schlafly would consider this page title an oxymoron.

This is what is known as an invalid point. It is also the basis of Conservapedia.

Conservatives typically try to use fringe excuses to reject mainstream ideas of scientists, such as evolution and global warming to disprove them and ridicule liberals and scientists of their findings. They also give undue weight to criticisms and ignore consensus findings on topics such as homosexuality and psychology.

They also ignore or discredit any criticism on personal topics, such as pedophilia in the church.
