A space to keep track of which users on Conservapedia are most likely to face the Banhammer for Political Incorrectness, back-talking the sysops, or just maliciously posting unwanted facts.

However, given the combination of an increasingly bizarre list of blockable offenses, TK's stalker-like use of checkuser and Andy's increasing tendancy to respond to queries with the banhammer, it's becoming more notable when new editor's aren't banned within their first couple of posts.

[edit] Unexpected Rebels

  • Darth Rayment - formerly a CP diehard, but now beginning to speak out against his former master on school prayer, gun control and Archaeopteryx . He even reverts teh Assfly's edits. Bravo to him! Can't you just see PJR being wracked by blue lightning bolts as he lifts Andy over his head with one hand? Okay, maybe not that far, but here's to hoping. Update: PJR has now resigned, end of an era on CP?

[edit] Express Lane, 10 edits or less

This page was created back at a time when people could actually try to talk sense to the CP Powers That Be, and last for a while before the banhammer fell. As such, it was created as sort of a "betting pool" for us to watch the goings on, and to wonder how long it would take for a given person to fall into oblivion. Over the last few months, the CP Powers That Be have gotten vastly more short-tempered, nasty, and paranoid. The usual half-life (that's a technical term from radiometric dating, and hence filled with LiberalDeceit) of a sensible person is now down to minutes—far too short to place bets on. All we can do is note their brief life and quick death.

We do not list people banned after obvious vandalism—quick bans of such people are understandable on a wiki that is vandalized as often as CP is. We note only people banned for asking embarrassing questions or making excessively sensible comments.

  • JohnyGoodman (talk · contribs), his homepage lists off numerous planned bannable offenses, among them, "science", "rationality", and "OMG, isn't it obvious to anyone else that this place needs to be fixed??". Banned by Bugler, Oct 18th for "deliberate and insolent disobedience". Had a good run.
  • Banfodder, new meat signs up for doubtless a quick bannination. tick...tick...tick...tick...BOOOM!...26 minutes from birth to death.
  • Kbolton (talk · contribs), banned by ASchlafly, 15:19, 13 Jan 2008, after 4 edits spanning 7 minutes. Andy's fast.
  • Kaplinsky (talk · contribs), banned by HelpJazz, 11:56, 11 Nov 2007, after 10 edits spanning 8 days. One of the edits mentioned (Oh noes!) the FBI.
  • RationTrumps (talk · contribs), banned by Karajou 22:14 22 Jan 2008. In record time: 4 minutes, basically for attempting to edit some bias out of the page, Kangaroo!
  • ARealScientist (talk · contribs), banned by ASchlafly, 16:22, 7 Jan 2008, after 1 edit of 1 word. Changed a mention of "vandalism" of the Evolution (excuse me, Theory of Evolution) page to "correction". Andy's very sensitive about those things, you know.
  • GoObama (talk · contribs), banned by ASchlafly, 22:53, 3 Jan 2008, after 7 edits spanning 14 minutes. He must have known he was living dangerously.
  • LardoBolger (talk · contribs), for calling Andy on his hypocrisy and CP's general 'ban first, investigate never' policy, which has already got him some now-removed blocks.
  • Mariam (talk · contribs), banned by DanH, 15:29, 25 Dec 2007, after 2 edits (one, really) spanning 1-1/2 hours. His crime? Joining the CollegeRepublican bashing. Including the first known public allegation on CP that he is Andy's son. The edit was burned, of course. We're always wondering where the next big FBI type of explosion will be. Could this be it?
  • PsychoDolly (talk · contribs), banned by Karajou, 11:00, 20 Dec 2007, after 4 edits spanning 20 minutes (plus an obnoxious article creation when he saw how pointless the whole exercise was) daring to question the insanity on the evolution page. And then there's this.
  • Dadsnagem (talk · contribs), banned by Iduan, 16:03, 4 Dec 07, after 6 edits spanning less than 1 hour. "Liberal/biased (and innacurate [sic]) rephrasing of election article". Apparently 34,108,157 is greater than 34,220,984, so Nixon had more popular votes than Kennedy in the 1960 Presidential election.
  • AntnyGonzo (talk · contribs), banned by Karajou, 18:37, 25 July 07, after 10 edits spanning 16 minutes. Made all the more impressive by the fact that most of those edits were a revert war, and therefore needed to be interspersed with other people's actions. All in just 16 minutes! His crime? Posting to the "Quantifying Openmindedness" page, and expecting sysops to discuss rather than threaten.
  • Byronyork2, banned by ASchlafly, 18:33, 2 Dec 07, after 3 edits spanning eleven minutes nine days previous
  • YellowDogDemocrat, banned by ASchlafly, 10:57, 10 Dec 07, after 1 edit.
  • ABN, banned by Karajou, 14:48, 10 Dec 07, after 12 edits (I suppose you have never gone through the express line with more than 10 items?) that spanned 3 days. The ban comment said "slipping in a pornography accusation can get you booted like the lying troll you are". If Karajou had taken a couple of minutes to check, he would have found that the pornography bit was removed by ABN, having been put in by YellowDogDemocrat. Way to go, Karajou!
  • MarcusCicero, banned by ASchlafly, 09:45, 9 Dec 07, after 9 edits that spanned 3 days, and again by Ed Poor after a 10th edit. Namecalling? Ed! Join the human race! Please!

  • Yadevol, banned by Karajou at 09:55, 2 Dec 07, after 0 edits for the following reason: (blocked "User:Yadevol" with an expiry time of infinite: name; "ya devil")

  • Factchecker, banned by Learn together, (who seems oddly reluctant to learn that he is wrong...) after three edits, two of which were on the article "Liberal," in five minutes.
  • Bill1111, banned by Aschlafly for "liberal vandalism", which consisted of deleting part of the article on liberal hate speech and putting science in quotation marks on the article about creation science.
  • GillianM, banned by JY23 for 'moronic vandalism.' Obviously she (?) hates cats:[1].

Please place a strike-out through a person's name when they get the hammer. We consider a ban of more than, say, a year, to constitute "the hammer".

  • Boomcoach has been getting awfully pointed lately in his criticism of Andy. You know, the stuff about how, any time a public-schooled person commits a crime it is the fault of the public schools, but any time a home-schooled person commits a crime (for example, mass murder; there have been a number of recent incidents of this) the home-schooling isn't relevant, because the person was only formerly home-schooled. See this series of edits (which includes some material from others).
  • Cezuk, for his insane notion that a "wiki encyclopedia" should consider more than one point of view, and allow facts to get in the way of Truth(tm). [2]
  • AngryCommunist, who has not been banned (yet). With a name like that…

[edit] Against the odds survivors (can they continue to last)?

  • Order, his longest block yet (5 days) was commuted, now he's thrown himself into the quagmire that is cp:Talk:Atheism. There have been unsuccessful efforts to use the 90/10 rule to block him. Latest block by Ed for what he calls a personal attack in the Myanmar debate. .
  • HelpJazz, blocked for 5 years by RobSmith for "tendentious editing". Can this one hold up. Surely he'll be reinstated? Uncle Ed Poor is not impressed with Rob's reasoning and unblocks him 9 hours later. Update: Purged and memory holed by TK.
  • DinsdaleP. Up to his 18th block now. Update: Purged by TK.

  • SSchultz gets invited to "see nothing". (At this writing we're waiting for SS's reply). Update1 day for "trolling". Relations have gone downhill ever since... Update: Axed.
  • I don 't think User:BenKerrs has a long career ahead of him as a CP editor. How long before the razor-sharp intellects in charge rumble him? Update Yup, this BenKerr guy is for the chop. I give him about five more minutes... BenKerrs=Bonkers!
  • Iduan, seems to be alright now, but has bothered TK in the past. Will this come back to haunt him? Adding to the fragility of his perch, now he's got RobS threatening him too. And, as of this, it's just a matter of time. UPDATE: Despite his most valient efforts, Iduan was unable to extract himself from the Schlafly hole of liberal deceits and atttain sysop. Finally quits when Andy won't even give him a straight answer. Update: He's back, but still not a sysop. Apparently not even a peep from Andy, either. What compels him anyway? Update 2: Gone again!
  • Jenkins might be making a bit too much sense to remain welcome at CP. [3] Better: see the full discussion [4] . This guy would appear to be toast. UPDATE: Though he managed to hang on after putting extensive work into the Wanted Pages, Jenkins ended up getting two 2-hour bans over this as well. You're welcome here anytime, guys. Update 2: Not being happy with having dug himself into a hole, Jenkins gets out the excavator by challenging both Andy and Karajou! This just can't end well... but it might be damn entertaining to watch! Update 3: Blocked for a week for making sense. This could well turn into the hammer. Update 4: Not this time... He persists for the time being. FINAL UPDATE: Jenkins finally speaks his mind. The result? Well, he is a longtime and hardworking contributor to Conservapedia, so... PERMABANNED by Ed!!!11
  • ceorlacyng banned for 5 years by LearnTogether for alleged trolling in stating that Karl Marx wrote a poem called "To the Creator Spirit" (which he did). Reverted all articles themed on "Widdecombe" (Sir Farnaby Widdecombe, Ann Widdecombe, Eadric of Widdecombe)
  • Hojimachong, the only self-professed "liberal" sysop at CP. He has been defrocked of his sysopship, and informed sources suspect some reason to ban him will be faked upfound shortly. It looks like he got tired of waiting, and decided to go out in a blaze of glory. TK Godspeeds him "With sincere regret".
  • Pachyderm defends Goldstein (see "finished" below), and gets this explanation: "We do not allow trolls and vandals, extremists and holocaust deniers to use our cite [sic] as a soap box to push marginal, fringe, and extreme POVs". After months of mundane contributions Pachyderm has bitten the bullet and made repeated criticisms[5][6][7][8][9][10] of Andy's World History Lecture Thirteen without response. How long can this go on for? Update: Pachyderm decided to turn on the heat: Discussion on Andy's page, warning by Andyon Pachyderm's page. Update Pachyderm turns up the heat on Andy by calling him to account over support for British Nationalist Nick Griffin [11]. Given TK's response this cannot bode well for his continued editorship. Challenged Andy's moral integrity too many times and finally paid for it despite submitting many sound articles. TK's ban-hammer further reduces the number of contributing editors.
  • User Sproutky got banned, from the website that (unlike Wikipedia) does not block for ideological reasons, for this edit. (It should be noted that WorldNetDaily is a conservative news organization like Weekly World News, only with the Liberal Menace instead of Bigfoot.)
  • Kenservative, blocked by TK with an expiry time of 5 years - "My! How clever! NOT." Eight good edits (including six wanted pages) but the head goon doesn't like to be criticized for his poor grasp of English.
  • Johnjoe, five years by TK: "See? I won't argue forever. Bye." Time Lasted 06:27, 27 August 2007 to 18:42, 28 August 2007
  • MrRandom, 5 years from TK (Sock and Trolling) Time Lasted 13:18, 18 July 2007 to 23:35, 28 August 2007
  • ZackT, who TK is accusing of being a sock. Too late, 5 year ban for him.
  • AmesG's triumphant return! Lasted 44 hours until Karajou went apeshit, for no apparent reason, and unprovoked. Console him here!.
  • Goldstein - Arch McCarthy-fellator RobS rachets up the paranoia (and possibly deceit) a notch with this ban of user Goldstein, after which he burns and salts the earth where Goldstein's castle once sat. His crime? Well, it seems to rest pretty much totally on this edit. Apparently, wanting to the first sentence of an article to define its subject is equivalent to denying genocide.
  • Bayes got vaped by TK. Five years for trolling. Final straw was a conservative version of Assfly's Liberal Intellectualism essay. Unbanned after mail request.
  • Mschel had been asking teh difficult questions to Andy and others, but recently single-handedly chasing a vandal throughout CP while the sysops twiddle their thumbs certainly should earn him mad props, and keep the 90:10 banhammer at bay for many months. Not even his valiant reverting of vandalism could save him...
  • Draare, too obvious to even mention, really, but nearly 100 page blankings and no block yet!? Where are the authorities? (I see, they're blocking INTregued, for asking questions.) Andy steps down off his throne to bloody his hands himself. Where were his sycophantic underlings? Heads will roll for this!
  • Johnjoe, for heresy and not accepting TerryH's rightful place as his superior. Update: BANNED TK made another funny.
  • MrRandom, a self-proclaimed liberal who has already got the hammer twice, but has been reversed and is now on probation. Will his new articles on fruit be enough to save him?
  • New user, Paleocon is on a one man effort to win back conservatism! Good luck to him! [12] Update: Poor old Paleocon got blocked, after the powers that be concluded that he was (deceitfully of course) claiming to be from North Carolina while editing from an IP address in Ireland. He explained it, got reinstated, complained a bit about the hair-trigger paranoia among other things, got told by Andy that his "name was unusual", "almost no one calls himself a 'paleocon'", and he uses British spelling. So he got banned, of course.
  • INTregued has been asking questions Andy can't answer (ie "what part of the Wikipedia Bertrand Russell article is gossip?"). His username and explanation for it are also an example of liberal deceit. Update: after a few days rest he's back, and not conceding defeat. Furthermore he's bothering Andy on his talk page, a no-no in the eyes of many sysops (though no one's ever said why, or pointed to any guideline prohibiting it), could we be seeing his last few edits? And Andy ain't takin' none of his backtalk.
  • Bayes, seems to have no idea what he's getting himself in to. He has mistaken Assfly for a rational man who can debate topics in a reasonable way. And now he's just goading him. The only thing that may save him is that Andy is slightly more hesitant to ban people than his minions are. Taken care of by TK. Unbanned again by TK after mail request. Banned once again by TK for revealing that his earlier block was for ideological reasons, although TK has the usual deceitful justification.
  • FillmoreMan recently questioned whether or not Falwell went to heaven. Blasphemous attacks like that, along with only 1 mainspace edit (about a children's show) and mentioning the site that must not be named on his userpage, may spell the end for him. (BTW: is he anyone's sock?) Permabanned by Karajou for trolling.
  • Turing100111010 hadn't even made it to the list of people we suspected to be banned, but that didn't stop Tash for perma-banning him for this edit.
  • Wismike, for blasphemy against the Supply-Side Gospel and St. Ronnie. Gets the hammer for making a final snarky comment after a substantial absence.
  • ViveCommunism -- predictable. Odd that the two most recently noted Tash blocks have been socks of the same person…
  • Porthos, for violating the 90/10 50/50 rule, and backtalking Sysops. [13]. Finally quits in disgust, and gets the hammer on his way out.
  • Graham, a self-proclaimed liberal who has displayed way too much common sense to remain a Conservapedian for long, has turned down invites to join our site saying it's better to discuss than ridicule. We all have felt that way, but with edits like this, how much longer will TK let the "discussion" go? (BTW, notice how that edit mysteriously disappeared while the page was being archived at 17:12 by "Conservative". Usually, when they delete comments they don't agree with, it's easy to see the deletion in the history. By deleting incidental to archiving, perhaps he hoped we wouldn't notice. Is this conservative deceit?) UPDATE: Banned for one day for calling a boycott of Ed Poor following his remarks on the mainpage about the protests in Burma. An inspiration to us all. He finally quits in disgust, realizing what we have long known: there is no discussion or debate with CPers. He is banned as a troll after announcing his departure and accusing Robin Hood of being a heartless socialist.
  • Alloco1, for agreeing with (1)idea that Global Warming may have a factor in the California wildfires, (2)the charge that sending of National Guard units to Iraq may have hindered response to said wildfires, and (3)(perhaps the biggest sin)to have criticized George W. Bush.
  • BillOhannity calls CP on one of their many pieces of bullshit displayed on their main page and elsewhere. Likely to be blocked or banned for 90:10 violation. Furthermore, his userpage says he is neither liberal nor conservative, which is a deceitful liberal way of hiding one's deceitful liberalness. Blocked by Admiral Karajou for being an "anti-intellectual".
  • Puellanivis has been honestly (maybe) supporting Conservapedia.[14][15][16][17] yet "12:12 (cur; last) . . Learn together (Talk | contribs) (blocked "User:Puellanivis" with an expiry time of infinite: Violated 90/10, when I pointed out it out, he accused Andy of doing the same; trolling statements pretending to discuss what CP believes including intentional misspellings in articles driving)" Yet apparently, bad spelling is a bad thing, as it detracts attention? Let me recall... which sysop keeps doing that himself? Apparently, CP doesn't know who to trust anymore? User:Eira is actually Puellanivis. It really wasn't that hard to know, "Eira" = Welsh, "snow", "Puella nivis" = Latin, "girl of the snow". The "he" that they would like to refer to is actually a she. They would have known this if they spoke had even an inkling of Latin.
  • Barikada, who had honestly tried to fix Conservapedia, finally snapped, replaced the Ronald Reagan page with the lyrics to "Cult of Personality" (Twice) and left a parting shot on the main page. He's quite proud of himself.

[edit] Inactive Candidates

These users were at one point up for the banstick, but gave up their crusades and left the site before anything conclusive happened.

  • OldFaithful (inactive) has been arguing with Andy over one of his essays. This can only end one way. That both Andy and TK have accused him of deceit is not a good sign.
  • Ursus (inactive) has removed the cornerstone paragraph from Deceit several times (you know, the one about the 10 Commandments). Add to that a few talk page comments that don't sufficiently attack liberals, and we have a guy who may be on pretty thin ice. Update: Ursus decides to stomp on said thin ice.
  • BenHur, (inactive) for Biblical non-literalism and standing up for JohnJoe. Now in trouble for being cheeky - 5 minute ban. Later, in touble again, this time with a 2 hour ban.
  • RogerMy, (inactive) taking issue with Bush's "resounding success" in his economic recovery in Mainpage talk. Few contributions of value. Was blocked last week for a day and has not yet returned.
  • ATang (inactive) has been saying naughty things on the Main talk page, 29 Aug. Always a dangerous idea.
  • RichardT - Wow! That was fast! Total elapsed time 1 hour and 3 minutes. New user RichardT signs up, makes two minor and obscure talk page contribs about Isaac Newton's Arianism (I don't think they were vandalism, but see for yourself, but, in any case Andy personally thanked him). RichardT then reverts someone else's vandalism [18], TK comes in, sees the vandalism, and reverts RichardT's reversion, leaving the wonderful remark comparing Marx to Jesus and some obscure musician, and then blocks him as a "troll/vandal". Just awesome! Update: Andy's unprotected Issac Newton to allow RichardT to make his edits. Someone should tell him not to bother. Update: TK unblocked him, admitting to a "mistake". Still, after making errors like this, these guys are more likely to ban the user later on somewhat flimsy pretexts, making them feel they were justified all along. We'll see if RichardT lasts. And someone should contact/invite him (right now with 3 edits he's technically in violation of 90:10). Further update: He's back, up and running, planning to add fundamentalist stuff—polonium halos, all the usual junk.

Then he left again.
